Bethel Presbyterian Church Singapore Upgrades with GECKO® C.R.I.S.T.A.L.® Audiophile System

11 Dec 2016: The Bethel Presbyterian Church Singapore 新加坡長老會伯特利堂 celebrated its 133rd anniversary this year. Prior to this recent upgrade, the sound system for the 500 pax seating capacity main sanctuary consisted of 4 units of 12” loudspeakers with 2 units of 15” subwoofers plus 4 units of 8” satellite loudspeakers. Sound from the main sanctuary was sent to the 300 pax seating capacity annex hall via a unit of high SPL double 15” loudspeaker. The walls were treated with full-fledge fiber wool acoustic panels to absorb the bounces in both the halls.

This year the church took a big leap in a total makeover for its main sanctuary - the fiber wool acoustic panels were removed and all the walls were repainted, old electrical wiring grids were replaced with new ones, and audiovisual systems upgraded.

GECKO® C.R.I.S.T.A.L.® Audiophile technology and equipment have been chosen for this complete sound system upgrade. The decision was made after having gone through a series of selection and testing processes on systems of different makes presented by different vendors. This upgrade is necessary to resolve their long-time intelligibility issues, bad sound coverage, and serious howling issues, among others.
